Delve Into Weekly Torah Portions

The book of Genesis, or Beginning, allows us to understand what the Almighty Yehovah chose to reveal to us concerning Creation. This book does not seek to prove anything; therefore, it does not present arguments to refute the theory of evolution, nor does it attempt to demonstrate the existence of the Creator. It simply recounts how things came to be, assuming that there was Someone who brought everything into order. Some view its contents as literal, while others interpret them allegorically. We leave that to the discretion of each reader.
