Before indicating how Shabbat should be celebrated, the following questions must be resolved: What is Shabbat? What does Shabbat mean? And What does the word Shabbat mean?
The word Shabbat is typical of the Hebrew language, in English, it could be translated as “the day of rest.” Interestingly, this word is linked linguistically to the word Saturday, which happens repeatedly in many other languages giving testimony of what Elohim (God), Yehovah commanded from the beginning of creation, despite the confusion of tongues in Babylon cited in Genesis 11: 1-9.

šího západu slunce! Pak se 6 DNÍ pracuje a 7 den je zase odpočinek. V půlce měsíce 15.den JE VŽDY SABBAT=ÚPLNĚK! pak zase 6.dní a 7.den je Šabbat! To je 22.den v měsíci! Měsíc má vždy 29 max 30 DNÍ! Nikdy víc ani MÍN! Sobotu Buh NEURČIL jako Šabbat! Sobota=saturday=SATURNŮV DEN! Ten Bůh nikdy nedal jako svatý, to mají pohané! Ti také dny pojmenovali podle pohansk_ch Bo] stavech! Bůhh Yehovah vždy dny v měsíci OZNAČUUJE ČÍSLOVKY! MÁTE TO V CELÉ BIBLI! BEZBOŽNÍ A HLOUPÍ LIIDÉ VYTVOŘILI SVÉVOLNĚ HLOUPÉ KALENDÁŘE, KTERÉ NIKDY NEJSOU PODLE BOHA YEHOVAH, ALE PODLE Boha tohoto SVÉTA satana! Excellent study and it hit home on a point I have struggled with; not eating out or ordering food in on the Sabbath. If I am truly a child of our Father in heaven, believe in his rules, laws, and follow the true Sabbath, I should not expect others to prepare food for me. I must say I never looked at it that way and to be a witness of the true Sabbath, I must show them that I do not expect them to work on that day, regardless if they believe so or not. Thanks.
Great teaching. As for me and my house we will serve Yeshua. We want to serve and obey Yeshua in keeping the Sabbath. Both of us work some part of the Shabbat. We are praying that Yeshua will make a way for us to be faithful to his command to keep Shabbat Holy. Regardless, we will take what we can now from the Sabbath and rest and get closer to his word.

I have led my household in keeping Shabbat for 10 years now. As one who took a stand, and lost my job as the result, I want to encourage all who are being convicted through the set apart spirit to keep Shabbat to be strong and courageous, and take that step. The same YHVH who split the sea for His people to cross over has not, and does not change. He will provide for you. The Day is coming when each of us will stand and give an account for what we have done, said and thought. On that Day, will the excuses you’re currently using for not keeping Shabbat be acceptable to the Judge? Are the fears and worldly consequences that accompany obedience to the Almighty worth being told “I never knew you! Depart from me, you violator of the Torah!”?
