Greg Rowe

I was first introduced to Michael Rood's teaching and ministry by my mentor in ministry, I believe it was in 2018. My mentor, my godmother, is an African-American pastor. I am a white boy from the backwoods of East Texas. I really didn't know what to do when I first heard Michael's teachings. I was raised in traditional Pentecostalism, educated in a private Christian school with Baptist leanings, submitted to ministry in a Charismatic organization, and befriended a Messianic Jewish pastor in a neighboring town. To say I am one of "the mixed multitude" is an understatement, not only in culture, but in intellect as well.

I have long studied Scripture with an eye to the historical context in which it was written, seeking to use all language and historical resources at my disposal to make sense of the Word of Yehovah, though I read no Hebrew or Greek.

The long and short of it is my wife, Kay, and I have been seeking the truth Michael teaches. We started our year of the Gregorian calendar with a fast in which we devoted ourselves to a study of Scripture and listening to sound teaching. We binge-watched "The Chronological Gospels," both seasons, in about ten days on a 21-day fast. We then delved in to "The Great Secret of Solomon's Temple" and was introduced to Nehemia Gordon. About two weeks ago, we ordered three copies of "The Chronological Gospels" Bible -- one for each of us and one for my mentor that introduced us to Michael's teaching. Kay and I began with the introduction and, aside from the times we attend service at our church or we celebrate Shabbat with my mentor via a conference call teaching, we are devouring the Word, the Bread of Life, Yeshua, that is presented in its pages. We are also currently viewing the "Open Door" series with Nehemia and Keith Johnson. We cannot get enough!

Our prayers are with Michael for a speedy recovery and that he is able to rejoin Scott and the rest of "The Rood Crew" soon, doing what he loves most -- sharing the Good News of the Kingdom with the world. Yehovah knows we need him!
