Prayer Requests
“Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth concerning anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” – Matthew 18:19-20

David & Linda

My wife, Linda just stood in front of me. She had her monthly bloodwork done today. She said her bone cancer might be progressing. She will be talking with her oncologist again tomorrow but nothing can be known until her next bone scan.

A brief history:

1995, breast cancer was found. A mastectomy with reconstruction was performed. 6 months of chemo.

2000, breast cancer found again. It was caught extremely early. A mastectomy with reconstruction was performed.

2006, cervical cancer scare.

2011, Appendix removed Hysterectomy.

2013, colon cancer found. One-third of the colon removed.

2013, breast cancer found to have metastasized to the bone, primarily to the hips, the ball of the femur, and several vertebrae. Also discovered two broken ribs that will never heal. She begins monthly chemo injections to prevent spread. Bone cancer comes in two types – one type removes bone mass and the other adds very weak bone mass in the form of calcification. Basically, she has endured 6 cancers in 26 years.

Though the chemo has changed formulations, she is still receiving this treatment today.

How it has affected Linda:

Pain, loss of strength. Walking distance impaired or impossible. Night sweats. Sitting for long periods painful.

Linda took a nasty fall at the Garden Tomb, Jerusalem in 2016. she has suffered no immediate or long-term effects. I credit that to the people on our tour who prayed and assisted Linda on uneven terrain.

We are planning a move to South Carolina soon but Linda will likely only sit back and watch. As I will as I am a disabled veteran.

We are driving there in a couple of weeks to find a place to buy.

Thank you for your prayers.
