Chukat – Numbers 19:1-22:1

Is there a red heifer in Israel? What is the water of menstruation for cleansing? Does a corrupt priesthood invalidate the water of purification and are we cut off without it? Is the site of the Temple off limits today? What exactly did Moses do wrong when Yehovah brought water from the rock? How did the snake on the pole cross the line into idolatry?

  1. When I read the first account of the Rock, I see Yahovah saying that he will stand on the rock, and I see Yahshua as the Rock. He was struck symbolically there in the wilderness and he gave forth the water of life. When Yahshua spoke to the Samaritan woman, he told her that he was the source of the water of life. Then when he was crucified, he was struck, as the first striking of the Rock in the wilderness. For Moses and Aaron to strike the rock the second time, meant that Yahshua was to suffer twice for our sins. He only had to be crucified once. So I look at what Moses and Aaron did was against Yahovah’s command, because of the severity of trying to crucify Yahshua a second time. Not so surprising, is that the Roman Catholics crucify him every week in their unholy Mass.

The comment about the cleansing and that we do them b/c we follow Yah’s instruction is an argument that I use when “pastors” came to my house and tried to convince me that all meat was clean (through christ) and that I could now eat it..I used this argument: I said: “Who knows more God or you?” and the pastor would say: “God”, so I replied: “Therefore if God told me that pork was abomination and it meant that it was bad for me, then why should I listen to you and not God?” Then my wife and mother-in-law (devil, lol) would say that this was a pastor (I guess meaning that he was higher than I in authority) and I just replied: “God still knows more and that there was a reason that he said pork was bad for the body”..Shalom Yosef from Puerto Rico

Moses, was angry for God. Although noble appearing, he was dis-honoring God by letting his own emotions supersede the commands of YHWH. The Rock (1Cor 10:4) was Yahoshua, Moshe was representative of the Pharisees. Instead of speaking or dialoging with Yahoshua, they were angry for God also in there own eyes and they struck him. The waters still flowed out of Yahoshua (Jn 7 :38) & (Jer 17:13)- Reason – Moses like the Pharisees would not enter the promise land literal and or spiritual. Yet Moses sight like the Pharisees was in no way dim. This is the Sod, Honor God’s word, do not lean on your own understanding…Vengeance is MINE… I am the Potter…I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy…

The bronze serpent, like the Rock was Yahoshua (Jn3:14). The Isrealites were in the area of Edom which was south east of The Dead Sea most famous for copper/bronze. Thus, the reason for the name Edom, similar to Adam( red earth/clay). Edomites where “the Enemy” as is the serpent.. The type and shadow of Jn 3:14 was Yahoshua who was Righteousness who would become Sin on the pole and be lifted up and nailed to a pole/standard. Yahoshua would become a banner ( YHWH Nissi) Which was the dichotomy of the red hefier as well as being so holy that He would become sin for us.. The bronze was a combination of clay and copper with significant amounts of silver being under the fire, signifing his red perfect blood/life, clay or humanity mixed with silver (redemptive) power. Yet this mixture Bronze was brittle enough to be broken as Yahoshua was broken for us. All who can see their sin being crucified and lifted up as a banner “YHWH Nissi” will be healed/redeemed/reconciled. The looking upon their sin crucified is the same as Mt Moriah and the name YHWH Yireh which more precisely means YHWH “shall be seen/as provision.(Gen 22) Unfortunately, The people later worshiped the Serpent instead of seeing the serpent crucified as their punishment crucified because of the Deliverer’s mediation and intervention.

Hey guys thank you for all your hard work in producing these TORAH pearls. I am learning so much about the love of YEHOVAH and HIS word and how to obey HIM. thank you again.

  6. I know that christians believe that rock was christ where living water comes from but I was wondering how Nehemiah explains Zech 3:2 And the Lord said unto Satan, The Lord rebuke thee. and Psalm 110:1 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand. It seems there are 2 Yehovahs?
Also in Joshua 5:15 And the captain of the Lord’s host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. Which sounds alot like Exo 3:5 And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground. So who was this in Exodus 3:5 the captain again?
And how do these 2 verses make sence: Exo 33:11 And the Lord spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And Exo 33:20 And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. Are these 2 different faces?
I would assume in Daniel 7:13 “I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.” that son of man is the messiah?
I would sure appreciate Nehemiah’s “Jewish” insight on these verses and thanks for all the pearls!!!

Howdy from New Zealand. Love the show. Been following you chaps for ages and buying your information etc. Have quite a few New Zealanders interested now… We’re as far from Israel as you can get… 12hrs time difference… to all ends of the earth! :)

Question – Does Yehovah allow the muslims to ocupy the temple mount to prevent the jews from reinstating sacrifice (Yeshua being the final sacrifice)? So the muslims are actually preventing the Jews from sinning? Conversely, for a muslim, this means Yehovah is using them to keep the sons of Israel holy before Him? This should be a mind twister for both Muslim and Jew!
    Thoughts on this?

    Keep up the good work.

Russ – Im in no way qualified to begin to answer your question, but I stumbled on your Q, and didn’t see any other replies, therefore; I must say “NO WAY!” If you read up on the temple service (Try Rico Cortez’s Temple service teachings on Yah-Tube) the sacrific has NOT been done away with, and the sacrifices will be reinstituted. It has to do with the line of the priesthood of which Yeshua belongs to the order of Melkizedek (spelling varies). Some of Rood’s teachings are also posted on Yah-Tube. His Spring Feasts series might also address this. Yah told Isreal thru his prophets what would happen if they didn’t repent of idolitry, and He keeps His word. Shalom
